Well this was a pretty good pay per view. The matches seemed to go on as long as they should without any filler and the only real thing we found out about Ronda Rousey is that she needs to work on her microphone skills. She did go through with her contract signing and the story has started with Rousey vs Stephanie, which will be her first match at Wrestlemania 34. This puts a lot of questions in my mind in regards to her schedule, and if she will follow Brock Lesnar and pretty much only perform at pay per views. She kept saying she wanted to earn her titles, but we all know that’s really up to the creative team.

In any case, let’s go to the matches and see how I did.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel: I was wrong. Apparently The Club, or Balor Club if you want to call them that, have not reached the point to where they are there to just put people over. This was a decent pre-show match that I missed most of because I was making lunch for the week, so I returned to see The Club win.

Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Mandy Rose vs. Mickie James vs. Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville: I was right. I told you that this title would not change hands and I was right. All performers did a great job and they made sure to get Sonya and Mandy out of there so they could set up conflicts for Sasha and Bayley. Mickie James was a big surprise this match as she was the one doing a lot of high risk maneuvers, but in the end it was Alexa Bliss who retained her title and gave a face to heel promo at the end of the match.

Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Apollo and Titus O’Neil: I was wrong. In all honesty I thought that this would be a boring match, but it turned out to be pretty entertaining. There’s not much really to say, but in the end Cesar and Sheamus retained their titles.

Asuka vs. Nia Jax:  I was wrong. This was a great performance by Nia Jax, showing that she could not only go toe to toe with Asuka but also reminding the WWE universe that she is a powerful heel. The match really looked to be in Nia’s favor, but in the end it was Asuka who won by pin not submission.

“Woken” Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt: I was right. This was a pretty fun match, but in the end Matt Hardy came out on top and now it’s time for each of them to move onto their next flavor of the week.

Braun Strowman vs. Elias vs. Finn Bálor vs. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. The Miz: I was wrong. This was such a great and entertaining match, and the best part of it was that John Cena didn’t dominate or try to steal the spotlight. This was strictly the Braun Strowman show featuring the rest of the competitors and it was awesome. Each person had their time to shine and they used that time well. Elias showed how much talent he has, Cena did what Cena always does, The Miz gave some funny spots and pretty much gave his all due to him probably not being at Wrestlemania 34, Finn did great as a person who kept the match moving and making transitions from wrestler to wrestler, Seth reminded everyone why he was Seth Freakin Rollins and Roman Reigns ignored the crowd and cemented himself as the main event of Wrestlemania 34.
