A gaming advantage is a gaming advantage, especially to those of us who are horrible at some first person shooters. The quickness of tapping the trigger buttons or aiming quickly can be the choice that determines whether you kill or be killed. During the Xbox press conference they introduced a new Xbox controller with swappable parts, new d-pad and thumbstick designs and switches to measure sensitivity. The only thing I’m looking at is the price tag.
With the Xbox Elite control being priced at $149.99, it’s only $20 less than a 4gb Xbox 360 with a game and $100 less than a 500gb Xbox 360 with two games. So I ask you, how much are you willing to pay for a gaming advantage. I’m a huge Xbox fanboy, but I also realize money is also not something that everyone has readily available. I only see the hardcore competitive gamers getting these, because of the intricate detail and custom button mapping I don’t see a casual gamer needing it.
