I guess that some one took a look at the upcoming movie Pixels, and thought they could do a lot better job using only one 80’s video game. The game chosen actually makes a hell of a lot of sense, based on the current technology and what’s being made now. Deadline reprots that the Midway game Rampage will be brought to the big screen and is set to start Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. I take it a few people went to see that San Andreas movie and liked what they saw what he could do carrying an action movie mostly by himself.

The movie is being developed, but I wonder who the other two characters will be played by. When I was young, my friend and I played Rampage on an Atari 2800 using two buttons and a joystick. I never knew what I had to do exactly, but I did know that punching holes in building gained points, I could fight my friend and if I ate certain people I would breathe fire. I don’t see Dwayne playing George, but he would make a great Ralph. This is all speculating that he is going to be one of the monsters. If he isn’t one of the monsters then I don’t know who the hell he’s going to play, all I know is that all three have to be represented.

In my made up movie for Rampage, there is some experiment gone wrong and, like in the fly, and three people are fused with animals. The Rock is the one who is trying to cure the three and the other two are taking advantage of their new power of free transformation. The end scene will be a long boss where each of them are climbing building and The Rock has to punch the lab building down while on the side of it.
