The one good thing about being a late night talk show host on a channel that is owned by a company that owns both Star Wars and Marvel, are all the exclusives you get to premiere. Jimmy Kimmel Live has been the go to for official releases of Marvel trailers and even some Star Wars footage, because Disney owns ABC. Last night we all received an early Thanksgiving present as the official Captain America: Civil War trailer was shown.
There were some quick shots of General Ross before he transforms into the Red Hulk and our first shot of Black Panther in all his Wakandan glory. Like everyone has already said, this is not the same registration act that the comic ark was based on. I would like to point out that Bucky was using Captain America’s shield very nicely when teaming with the Captain and fighting Iron Man. I only say this because I want to see Bucky take over the new Captain America with that bad ass robot arm. Speaking of robots, James Rhodes seems to have been pretty messed up and can be seeing laying in Tony Starks arms while they are both in their Iron Man suits. We also got to see a Braveheart-esque moment when the teams from both sides are charging each other, but we only see Iron man, War Machine and Black Panther so where the are Ant-Man and Spider-man. Most likely we’ll see the web head at the end of the movie or in an end credit, but hey it’s nice to be able to look forward to something.
