Hey everyone kills me repeatedly in Halo multiplayer arenas, how’d you like to face off against someone who has some actual skill? If you’re friends with me on Xbox and have seen my skill in any multiplayer match, or have been one of the many that have killed me, then a tournament is just what you need to promote that K/D ratio that I no doubt helped you get.

Starting in December the Halo World Championship will begin and it will focus only on the Arena multiplayer of Halo 5:Guardians. Currently the prize pool is at $1.7 Million, but it’s still growing and if you have the talent then you and you’re team can come register here.

The Halo World Championship is partnering with MLG, ESL and GFinity to bring you this worldwide tournament that includes players from the United States, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Greater Asia, Latin Americ, Australia and New Zealand. Here are the dates that you need to know

  • December 6, 2015 – Online Ladders Begin
  • December 19, 2015 to January 31, 2016 – Online Qualifiers and Regional In-Person Live Events
  • January 23, 2016 to February 21, 2016 – Regional Finals across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia/Australia/New Zealand
  • March 1, 2016 to March 20, 2016 – Halo World Championship Prelims and Finals
