The show Tales From the Crypt was something that either scared you, made you laugh or was watched for the those times when you saw some nakedness. Due to me being a big scaredy cat I watched it here and there and mostly late at night on Friday and Saturday, because I had cable in my room and I was spoiled. I only remember a few episodes, one being the one where there was a lady who ended up also being  a sexy cat and had a nice topless scene,  and another where an audition for a play turned fatal when the play was put on by mental patients who had taken over an asylum. Whatever the case may be there was always a twist and come to think of it, the choice for who’s spearheading the show makes more sense now.

According to Deadline mister twist ending himself M Night Shyamalan will be part of the reboot of the show for a new weekly horror block on TNT. No matter if you are a fan of Shyamalan or not it shouldn’t matter, because his movie endings were the same as the Tales From the Crypt’s. There was always a catch and someone always ended up having a not so good day or night. With the show being on TNT the cussing will be limited and those fateful topless scenes will never be again. No word on when this will premiere, but the horror block on TNT will be two hours with a variety of content. The stories will be taken from the comics where the show first got it’s material and as of right now there is no word on if Shyamalan will be writing any of the episodes or just stick to executive producing. My money is on an October release to go against every other channels horror programing.
