One of the most controversial games of all time is making a return back to PC, but not as a first person shooter. POSTAL Redux will be a top down twin stick shooter that will gives a new perspective on all the damage and mayhem being caused by the main character.
I never played the original Postal game, but I did jump in on Postal 2 which was the first person shooter I mentioned above. The graphics weren’t all that special, but its what was happening in the game that made it memorable. Not only was there a cameo by the late Gary Coleman, it seemed that every stereotype out there was represented and even caught the eye of director Ewe Boll who made a movie of it. Sadly the movie was completely horrible and didn’t live up to the comedy of the game, but that’s how most of the Uwe Boll movies are so no one should be surprised.
POSTAL Redux will be coming to Steam later this year, but because Playstation 4 also works with Steam there is a rumor it may be coming out on there as well. For my fellow Xbox One owners there may be some light at the end of our tunnel as well, as the website www.xbox.steampowered.com has been getting a lot of attention online. If Xbox One reveals that Steam will now integrate with Xbox One then be sure to look for POSTAL Redux as it may be a playable game on Xbox One.
