The Resident Evil movie franchise has split crowds right down the middle ever since the first one came out in 2002. You either really enjoy the movies or really dislike them, because the source material is there but there characters that are not represented correctly. I personally really enjoyed them all, even the one where she first found out she had powers in the dessert and burned a bunch of birds. The last Resident Evil movie, entitled Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, is set to come out in January of 2017 and will be the end of the movie franchise. According to Latino-Review the big plot detail of the new movie is that an airborne virus may reverse and/or end the zombie apocalypse.
All I can hear is a thousand keyboards being beaten to death by the speed of fingers typing how the zombie apocalypse was brought to it’s knees by the perfect cold. I understand this sounds silly and there had to have been a better way that this could have ended, but we don’t know the exact details of how this becomes known or how its spread so let’s all calm down. The movie still has 90 minutes to fill and it won’t be an hour long shot of a virus spreading around the whole world and someone reverting back to a normal human being. We have to see some closure with Alice and also see if Wesker still walks like a human imitating a robot.
