Big news broke when Chief Content Officer of Netflix Ted Sarandos announced news concerning the Marvel shows on Netflix. Along with the news that The Punisher would be having his own spin off show on Netflix, it was also announced that Jessica Jones would be getting a second season. The following image was also released to go with the news
Sarandos also stated that the original 5 shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and The Defenders) have not been changed. Once all shows have come out they can see where they are with production and see how they fit in The Defenders. Sarandos also mentioned that any character that appears in any of the Marvel shows has the ability to star in a spin off, although I don’t think a Foggy Nelson rom com could work.
In a Netflix press release it was announced that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt would also be coming back for a second season and airing on April 15 at 12:01 am. Let’s hope for more Titus embarrassing himself and farting.
Orange is the New Black will also be returning for it’s 4th season on June 17 at 12:01am, let’s hope this season picks back up because the last two had some real dull parts.
