Each Monday I like to take a look at a piece of media that stands out to me. This could be anything from an episode of a TV show or cartoon or just an album I think you should enjoy.

This week we are taking a look at an iconic episode of Justice League Unlimited. The last episode of the second season was a major cross over between Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond and a hint of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

I won’t give away any spoilers, but this episode has some key points I’d like you to pay attention to.

1. Batman talking to Ace on the playground. You see Batman disappear and resort back to Bruce Wayne, even though he still has his cape and cowl on. The way he talks to Ace in her last moments is as if he was her father, holding her hand before she passes.

2. The joke Amanda Waller makes about Bruce’s DNA before she tells Terry how they really got it.

3. The movie that a young Terry Mcginnis and his parents are watching. In Batman: The Animated Series, Bruce Wayne meets The Grey Ghost and tells him he was his childhood hero.

4. Amanda Waller talking about that DNA isn’t the only thing that makes a hero and more so the assassin she hires.
