Sometimes when you do a job for a long time you start it starts to show in your work. Matt Groening introduced The Simpsons and they were great, but after a while he branched out to Futurama. Unfortunately Futurama had great comedy, but didn’t get the respect it deserved. It stretched it’s life out past it’s expiration date with the shows attempt to stay alive on Comedy Central, but sadly it couldn’t do it.

It was reported that Groening is now in talks to Netflix to develop a new animated show. Being a Netflix show does have it’s benefits such as a relaxed code of what can be on a show, no commercials and a binge worthy release ability. Groening doesn’t need any more money and there hasn’t been any news of a show being shopped around, so this sounds like something that may be a for fun project.

As of right now there is no information concerning the plot or characters, but when there is we’ll let you know.
