Yesterday Marvel sent out a twitter showing what looked like Jessica Jones‘ note pad with who is Danny Rand? written across the bottom. The message is from a Jay Meachum and marked as urgent, and the tweet also provided a link to the Marvel site where Finn Jones was officially announced as Iron Fist (Danny Rand).

Jay Meachum doesn’t mean anything, but in the comics Harold Meachum was at fault for the death of the father of Iron Fist. This may be a hint to the plot of the upcoming Netflix series, which will be the last piece of the puzzle that is the formation of The Defenders.
