Oh Twitter, you’re there as a way for people to connect with each other 140 characters at at time and also for companies to promote and a way to get news out. Sometimes when people try to be nice and connect with an audience and answer questions, information may accidentally come out that shouldn’t. This has happened in picture form and through text. Yesterday Josh Holmes, the studio head for Halo 5: Guardians, replied to a question with something he shouldn’t have via Twitter. The tweet was immediately deleted, but people were able to still get the text before it was removed. The tweet read
@JULIOCURT There is a limited edition console coming, yes. It hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s pretty sweet.
— Josh Holmes (@JoshingtonState)
As I mentioned, the tweet was immidately removed and now there’s only this. So what exactly will people be getting with their custom Xbox One? Do they expect Halo 5: Guardians to be such an iconic release with all the bad press that they received with Halo: The Master Chief Collection? I don’t have numbers for pre-orders, but I guess if the pre-order numbers were large enough they could produce a few with either a physical or digital copy of the game.
