To call this event a pay per view is a joke, its really just a episode of WWE Main Event with bigger superstars. If anything Roadblock is referring to the obstacle we have to humor before we get to the main destination, Wrestlemania 32. Nothing in the 4 matches will change anything, because for the most part the matches for Wrestlemania are set and Triple H will not lose the belt at an event like this. Let’s go through these matches and make some predictions.
These matches are from Wikipedia and do not reflect the actual card line up
The New Day vs. The League of Nations – Oh man if Sheamus and King Barret beat Big E and Kofi then this will definitely bury The New Day. The League of Nations is beginning to be like The Social Outcasts, where the audience would be happier if they weren’t seen. Even the Uso’s have taken some time off TV and everyone seems to be ok with it. The New Day will be victorious and a video game song will be played.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt – Bray Wyatt is being built as the new face of fear, but he is not the one to take down Brock Lesnar. Brock has faced both Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns at the same time and he’s survived, so one Bray Wyatt shouldn’t be a problem. If Bray lands a Sister Abigail and kisses Brock I’m going to laugh, but in the end it’ll be Brock who is the winner.
The Revival vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady – I don’t watch NXT other than that breaking ground show so in this case I’m going to flip a coin and say Enzo and Colin win.
Triple H vs. Dean Ambrose – This is the most fan driven, for fun match that has happened in a while. Dean Ambrose isn’t scheduled to have the belt for a quite a while and Triple H has too big of an ego to lose it at an event this small. Regardless of ratings and how many mixed emotions would happen with a Reigns vs Ambrose match at Wrestlemania 32, the fact of the matter is that Triple H will win so Ambrose can have a match against someone else at Wrestlemania.
