Well, that was quite a pay per view. There were a lot of surprises and some results that we all saw coming, but there were a lot that no one saw coming. There was a heel turn, but sadly no face turns. Let’s take a look at results and see how many I got right.

Neville and The Lucha Dragons  vs. The Cosmic Wasteland (Stardust and The Ascension): I was wrong. The Lucha Dragons did their part, but Neville wasn’t given his chance to do any big moves. The Ascension as essentially hired fodder as Stardust is just using them for his advantage. Cosmic Wasteland won, but they still won’t be a part of any major story line.

Ryback vs. Kevin Owens: I was wrong. Usually Kevin Owens puts on good matches, but this just match shows me it’s all about who he’s wrestling. If his opponent is active and willing to do big moves, then he’ll do big moves as well. Ryback is a big guy and will only do well against other big guys. In any case Owens won and is now the new Intercontinental Champion.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev: I was wrong. Whenever you see Summer Rae or Lana take off their shoes, you know something is going to happen. Lana was still at home, but Summer escorted Rusev down and didn’t get involved until the end of the match. She took off her shoes and tried to hit the referee for throwing her out, but hit Rusev and that was how he lost to Dolph Ziggler. Both Dolph and Rusev left while Summer stayed at the bottom of the ramp, hopefully she will go back to wresting and this story line will be over.

The New Day vs. The Dudley BoyzI was wrongI’m, not sad that the Dudley Boyz lost because it was a pretty entertaining match. More and more I’m liking Xavier Woods as the loud mouth hype man, and it was ok for The New Day to win and then see The Dudley Boyz put Xavier through a table.

Nikki Bella vs. CharlotteI was right. This was actually a pretty dull match. There was showing off of talent, just Nikki attacking Charlotte’s knee the whole match. This is suppose to be the divas revolution, where they get long matches and get to show off their skill. Nikki dominated most of the match, but the last couple of minutes is where Charlotte landed a spear and then put her in a figure 8 until Nikki tapped out. Charlotte is the new Divas champion and now has a target on her back from every other diva.

Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Chris Jericho vs. The Wyatt FamilyI was wrong. Jericho came out as the third man and everyone went wild. The match went pretty decent with it being Roman vs. Braun for a decent percentage of it. I was right about a heel turn, because Jericho tagged himself in when Roman was ready to spear Braun and that was how Jericho got pinned. At the end Roman and Dean were saying it was ok that they lost to Jericho and then Jericho walked right past them both, bumping into Dean and walking up the ramp. This now sets up a Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose feud for no other reason than Jericho wanted to be the heel to someone.

Seth Rollins  vs. John Cena: I was right. This was a really good match with some high flying moves from both wrestlers and some close calls. I may not like the character of John Cena, but I’ll admit he has put a lot more into his wrestling lately. Much like with the Owens vs Ryback match, I believe that it’s their opponent that brings out the best in a wrestler. John Cena wins back the United States Championship and will probably go back to hosting open challenges.

Seth Rollins vs. StingI was wrong. This was the second part of back to back matches that Seth Rollins took place in, the first match he lost and this match he mustered up the strength to beat Sting. There was one part that Sting was looked at by the ref and a trainer, but I saw no X made with his arms so I think it was more for him to rest. After Rollins won Sheamus came out to try to cash in the Money in the Bank contract, but before he could Kane came out and choke slammed Rollins. Sheamus, seeing how Kane attacked Rollins, asked for Kane to step aside so he could pin Rollins but Kane choke slammed him too. Kane then gave Rollins a tombstone and walked away. Sheamus still has not cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and Kane looks to be turning face. Although this could have been the plan from the authority all along, but we’ll have to wait until RAW tonight to see the new story lines.
