Well the 2015 Money in the Bank pay per view is done, and it was pretty much a let down. Nothing went in favor of the fans and the matches that were suppose to be exciting seemed like longer Monday Night RAW matches. Let’s take a look at the results.
R-Truth vs. King Barrett – I was wrong. R-Truth pulled off the win and surprised everyone.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Neville vs. Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus vs. Kane – I was wrong. For some reason Bray Wyatt came in to take out Roman Reigns before he could get the briefcase, and Sheamus won. Bray Wyatt is becoming the “monster of the week” for pay per views. He doesn’t have a distinct stance on anything, he just goes person to person wrestling so they have a reason to be at a pay per view. I hope Sheamus loses when he cashes in the Money in the Bank contract.
Nikki Bella vs. Paige – I was half right. They did do the switch and Paige did pin and win Brie, but it was reversed and Nikki won. There was a shot of the divas watching and talking about Nikki, so I’m sure one of them will be next to challenge Nikki.
Ryback vs. Big Show – I was right. Ryback won, but it was a really boring match. The Miz and Big Show are becoming the lowest men on the totem poll, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them wrestled Heath Slater.
John Cena vs. Kevin Owens – I was wrong. This was another exciting match with some big WTF moments, but it seems that they may be splitting their story line at one win a piece.
The New Day vs. The Primetime Players – I was right. The Primetime Players won, but I just wish that they had a bigger crowd following. With better writing and some funny promos, they could build a good size following.
Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose – I was right. This match was a long match and even though there was a lot of ladders and chairs used, the match didn’t seem as exciting as it should have been. The match ended pretty crappy with both competitors falling off the ladder with the belt, but when they hit the mat Ambrose let go. There were no run outs or surprises, just a regular match that allowed chairs and ladders.
